At 12, I was gifted my first DSLR
Now, this was 2008 so us myspace kids were CONVINCED WE WERE all professional photographers and fluent in overexposing/skin blurring in photoshop. I guess she still lives in me a little bit because creating this website has brought back all the scene-kid nostalgia.
I had absolutely no idea that someday I would document love stories for a living. In 2020 I started playing around with a little photography business on the side, photographing high school seniors and couples here and there. In 2024 I was able to pursue Selena Lee Photo full-time. My mind is still blown.
I LOVE WHAT I DO. I'VE BEEN A LOT OF THINGS. BUT THE ONLY THINGS THAT FELT ENTIRELY RIGHT HAVE BEEN BECOMING A MAMA TO MY INCREDIBLE KIDS, A WIFE TO MY PERSON AND BEING BEHIND MY CAMERA.
My best friend and I recently got married!
so happy to call my former next door neighbor, my husband!
It was a dream day - a windy first look on N. 7th st in downtown las vegas, NV
followed by vows written in mini composition books. The cutest cake, first dance (Lonely day by system of a down) and karaoke at the cat's meow - then a walk through the neon's and some photostrip fun and beer at the silver tap.
Not only am I able to provide a vendor's perspective, but I just did the bride thing too! This means loads of tips, tricks, information I'll be sharing with you throughout the process -

I refuse to believe that love on fire doesn't exist and that soulmates aren't real. While it may not be perfect, your love story is unique and perfect to you. My childhood and life so far has taught me that happy and beautiful things & moments throughout our time here might not last forever, we can surely document these joy-filled days to hold close to us through tough times.
